Hey, it’s Dr. Taylor Strange from Alliance Vision Institute. I’m a cataract and refractive surgeon, and I’m here with Dr. Brian Williams for his one-month post-op follow-up for his EVO ICL procedure.
I’ll let Dr. Williams share his experience: ‘I’m absolutely loving it! I was just telling Dr. Strange that I was checking my vision yesterday at my own clinic, and I’m pretty comfortably seeing the 20/10 line. I couldn’t be happier. What I notice most is being able to wake up in the morning and let my dog out without having to put glasses on. This is especially helpful when it’s dark and I don’t want to turn the lights on to avoid waking my girlfriend. Being able to see crystal clear while going down dark stairs and doing similar activities has been amazing.
To my patients who are considering refractive surgery: I think you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t at least research all the options available. EVO is one of the relatively newer procedures, and I don’t think it’s as well known to patients as some other options. I definitely recommend looking into it at least.
