Kasey Gantz is the Practice Manager at Alliance Ophthalmology. Kasey brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice with her 25 years’ experience in medical administrative roles, the last 14 years being in Ophthalmology. In her role with Alliance Ophthalmology, she manages all aspects of practice operations, including billing, clinical and administrative teams. Kasey has a passion for patient education and advocacy, as well as operational efficiency. She is a member of the American Academy of Administrative Executives. Kasey lives in the Azle area with her husband and has three children- 22, 18 and 14. In her spare time, she enjoys supporting her youngest kids with Band Boosters, visiting her son and daughter-in-law in Temple, or spending time with friends and family.
Amy Rogers is an Ophthalmic Technician with 20 years’ experience in Ophthalmology. Amy is also well versed in assisting in Cataract, glaucoma, and LASIK surgical procedures. Amy gained her Associates degree in Ophthalmology Technology from Triton College in Illinois. Amy lives in the Keller area with her husband and 2 children. In her free time, Amy enjoys attending Texas Ranger and Maverick games, camping, fishing and traveling.
Brooke Grebe became interested in eye care at a young age when her step-father taught her about Perkinje shift, the change in color perception in relative lighting. Brooke began working in optometry in 2003, and obtained a Paraoptometric certification. Over the next 14 years, she built her skill set in everything from diagnostic testing and scribing, to billing and coding and fitting eyewear. In 2017, she made the transition from optometry to ophthalmology, and absolutely loves the medical/surgical aspect of eye care and daily interaction with patients. She is working toward obtaining her COA. Brooke is originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming and moved to Texas in 2010. She is married and has 2 children ages 10 and 6. When she is not working, her young children keep her very busy. She is known in our office as “the foodie”, as she loves to cook and is always trying and sharing new recipes. She also enjoys bowling, traveling and doing puzzles with her family.
Daron Clingman is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant working on her 15th year in Ophthalmology. She adores working with patients to improve one of their most precious senses – sight. Drawing on her years of experience as a technician, Daron is very knowledgeable in ophthalmic disease, refractive surgery outcomes, and patient care. Daron lives in the Keller area with her husband and 3 fur babies. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, all types of music, traveling and is an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver.
Karla Limon is an Ophthalmic Technician with 20 years’ experience in Ophthalmology and Optometry. Karla is bilingual and utilizes those abilities to help our Spanish speaking patients have thorough examinations. Karla lives in the Azle area. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Frank, and has 2 sons. In Karla’s free time, she stays busy with her son, FJ’s sport activities and her newest addition to the family, Mateo.
Tonya Bowman has worked in Ophthalmology 22 years as a technician, and is currently working on her Ophthalmology Technician certification. She was born and raised in Waco and currently lives in Euless. She is married and has 3 children, two that are in college and one 5th grader. Tonya enjoys spending time with her family, sports, and traveling whenever possible.
Sharla Owens is the Surgical Coordinator at Alliance Ophthalmology. Sharla has spent 17 years in Ophthalmology in both clinical and administrative roles. This experience gives her both the clinical and administrative knowledge necessary to fully educate our patients on surgery options. In this role, Sharla provides all aspects of coordinating surgery for our patients, including education of lens options, scheduling surgery and post-operative care coordination. Sharla lives in the Rhome area with her husband and 2 children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping and supporting the Cowboys.
Rena Tapia is a Front Desk Associate at Alliance Ophthalmology. Rena has over 8 years’ experience in the administrative side of medicine, with the last 2 years in Ophthalmology. Rena has a passion for knowledge and patient communications which make her a vital part of our office staff. Born in Washington, but raised in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area, Rena is married and has a daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching volleyball, and going to the movies.
Danielle Strange handles the marketing and informational material for Alliance Ophthalmology and works to maintain our referral network. She has a BFA in fine art from the University of Texas at Arlington, and she has put her degree to use by painting many of the pieces hanging in our clinic. She spent 15 years in real estate assisting agents in marketing properties and transaction coordination. She is married to Dr. Strange, and together they have 4 children – 3 daughters ages 15, 8, 3 and a son, 13. When she isn’t being a taxi service for her children, she enjoys painting, decorating, crafting, watching her kids’ sports and attending Gateway Church.
