Hello and welcome to Alliance Vision Institute! My name is Dr. Haley Crudgington. I am so happy that you found us and are giving us the opportunity to provide the exceptional eye and vision care that you deserve.
I started my career in the private practice setting, providing routine vision care. While most of my day was spent giving out prescriptions for glasses and contacts, my favorite days were seeing my patients who had just had cataract or refractive surgery. Vision is one of the most essential senses that we have, and all of my patients who underwent surgery were amazed at how well they could see.
After a few years, I moved over to the more medical and surgical side of vision care here at AVI. I enjoy aiding patients in selecting the best cataract lens or refractive surgery type for their lifestyle. I also get to work alongside a team of fantastic doctors who all have the same goal in mind.
I am so excited for you to come and experience the level of care and expertise that makes Alliance Vision Institute stand out above the rest!
The optometrist that I had growing up is the reason why I became one as well. He was the most engaging and caring person, showing me all of the technology that they had and explaining everything in detail that a 9 year old could understand. I am forever grateful to him for his compassion and how he interacted with patients, leading me to want to be like him and strive to provide the same standard of patient care.
Seeing the patients one day after their cataract surgery. So many of our patients have significant cataracts that are affecting their vision and daily living. Walking into the exam room and seeing how happy the patients are with their new, clear vision, makes what we do worth it.
Prior to working at AVI, I had worked in solo private practices providing routine vision care. Coming to AVI really showed me how working with the other doctors has helped me learn and grow as a doctor and provide elevated patient care.
