We want you to know that your health and well-being is our top concern. In following recommendations provided by the CDC, we have implemented new protocols at our office in order to protect the health of our patient and our team. Please know that we will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure that you are in a safe and healthy environment at Alliance Ophthalmology.
Please be advised of the following:
Every person who visits Alliance Ophthalmology will be pre-screened before entry is allowed. This will include a temperature check and brief health questionnaire. This applies to all patients, visitors and staff. Should you or a guest have a temperature of 99.9 degrees or higher, have any upper respiratory issues such as cough or shortness of breath, or have recently traveled to a high-risk zone, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later date and entry into the clinic will not be allowed until you are well or clear of any potential illness for a minimum of 14 days.
Our team members who are scheduling and confirming appointments will also be pre-screening patients over the phone for these signs and symptoms in order to save you a trip should you need to be rescheduled for a later date due to these protocols.
We are limiting the number of guests in our facilities to 1 per patient, and we ask that you only bring a guest with you if it is absolutely necessary.
Alliance Ophthalmology is also taking additional measures to maintain a healthy environment for everyone. For local updates and information on how you can protect yourself, please visit the Texas Department of Health’s web page dedicated to the Coronavirus here: https://dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus
Thank you for your cooperation and support during this time, we can all get through this by working together.
